| Besides the stories themselves, I also loved the maps that came with
some of the books. Of course there is the map of Spindrift Island itself
from the endpapers. I spent many hours just looking at that map pretending
that I lived there. That map was drawn by someone named Palacios.
In some books you can see his name in the lower left corner of the map.
Most of the time it is cut off. Palacios also did most of the maps,
several with his signature stylized map title box. |
